This is the last of my nebulae experiments. Iím finally at a level that I can say, ďThatís good for now.Ē The title is supposed to imply that and not that it's the best out there, far from it. I used techniques that I felt worked with my other experiments and junked others that just didnít suit this application. Iím not saying that I will no longer work on this subject but not right now. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it definitely let me know. As always your comments are greatly appreciated.

nah, you give me too much praise, my friend. i didn't do much other than paint in some color with a textured brush, then messed with the contrast. it was all very random. i was quite satisfied with the outcome, though. it seems that the ones i work on less come out better.

I'm a bit of a johnny-come-lately here, so I don't really have much to add for comments on this piece. I find it brilliantly rendered and devastatingly stark and intense. I don't recall if anyone mentioned how much personification you seemed to put into this work. The bottom left portion where the bright contrast is seems to make a silouette of either a distinctive bird of prey, or dragon jaw... or the thrusting of a right hand into white fire (in that portion where it looks like the bottom part of a beak... it also has the look of a thumb jutting from a hand with the fingers clenched closely above)

All very inspiring, and brings out many good emotions when I look at it. I'm sorry to hear that you won't be doing Nebula work for a while, but you're right... you've really nailed it more than once and I would love to see you work on something new.

Look forward to seeing what you have in store next ;)

That is amazing and beautifully done. I absolutely love the colouring. And the flow of this image is excellent, the way that the bright draws your eyes across the dark... Quite well done. This is a dev well done. Good job.

Fucking realism at its best. The only part that seems out of place is that glowing green coming off the bottom left.

Yeah, I need to work that in a little better. In fact there's a lot more to the left than I let you all see, but it just didn't quite fit in with the rest of the piece. Thanks, bro.

I love it, the brightness and colors, it's almost explosive..I prefer the brighter more colorful nebs like this one.I have a collection of wallpapers of actual nebulas, and although alot of people say they aren't supposed to be too colorful :eyeroll:, You'd be suprised at the colors found in space.

Thanks. I find it strange how the Hubble telescope works. Apparently all images are actually taken several times with different filters. We only see what NASA wants us to see. But they sure do look nice, eh? I'm glad you like it.

hmm, pretty interesting. Definately an unique and original look. Ok, over to the picky part. Theres a small black box under the text, dunno if its supposed to be there but it looks a bit odd. You've got some great variation to the stars, some are in focus, some are not, blurred and less blurred, but i would love to see some really sparkly ones, that is crispy sharp as angeldust, but thats me though lol. The texture on the neb is good, some dark messy spots wich makes one wonder what kinda gasses this monster spews out. Hmm, ok, now im just rabling lol. Lovely work here my friend, promise me you'll continue your work on nebulas, cause you've got something special going here. :#1:

haha, the little black box... I had the text "by ~acidround" below it and thought it was crap. I couldn't tell after I deleted it, though. You've got a good monitor. Makes me wonder what else you can see. And I also thought the same about the stars, just didn't really think it was that big a deal. I'll work some brighter ones in there. Thanks for the encouraging words, my friend.

I envy your mad skills. I could never do anything like this! If it doesn't involve a pencil, I'm screwed. This is excellent. I like how you have a lot of brown and black, but you added blue. Adds a nice effect.
